Outlines can help text, graphics, and image-based elements stand out from the rest of your design. You can adjust the outline size, fade, colour, and advanced settings from the editor action bar.
Add an outline
- Open your design in the Easil editor.
- Select the element you want to update.
- Select Outline from the action bar.
- Use Thickness to increase or reduce the width of the outline.
- Use Fade to soften or sharpen the outline edge.
- Choose an outline colour from Template, Brand, Image, or Color Picker.
Your changes apply to the selected element as you adjust the controls.
Use more outline options
Select View More to show the advanced outline controls.
- Smoothness adjusts how even the outline edge appears.
- Distance moves the outline away from the selected element.
- Rotate changes the angle of the outline effect.
- Knockout removes the original element fill and leaves the outline effect.
- Fill keeps the original element fill visible while the outline is applied.
Select Show Less to return to the basic outline controls.
