How to save your design in Easil

Easil saves your design changes automatically while you work, so you do not need to manually save every edit.

Your design is saved to the cloud whenever you make a change, such as adding text, moving an element, uploading an image, or editing a page. A stable internet connection helps those changes sync properly.

Check that your latest changes have saved

Look near the design title in the top bar for the save status indicator. When Easil is saving, the indicator briefly changes while your latest edits are syncing. Once saving is complete, the indicator returns to its saved state.

Before you close your browser tab, switch designs, or leave Easil, give the save indicator a moment to finish. This is especially important after large uploads, image-heavy edits, or a series of quick changes.

Save manually

You can also trigger a save yourself from the editor.

  1. Open your design in Easil.
  2. Click the Save button in the top bar. It appears as a save icon beside the Download button.
  3. Wait for the save status to finish before closing the browser tab or leaving the design.

After you click Save, Easil shows a saving status while your latest changes are being saved.

If saving seems slow

If the save status does not finish after a reasonable moment:

  1. Check that your internet connection is still working.
  2. Keep the Easil tab open while the save finishes.
  3. Avoid refreshing or closing the browser while the save indicator is active.
  4. If the browser becomes unresponsive, wait a little longer before trying a refresh.

Where to find saved designs

Saved designs remain available in your My Designs section. Open your WorkSpace to return to recent designs, team designs, or templates you have permission to use.

If you cannot find a design you were working on, check that you are in the correct team and WorkSpace, then look for the design by name.
